Infineon: Year-round sales 15 billion!

Infineon's latest quarterly results have been released, and as of now, the financial reports of the three major European chip giants have been disclosed. According to several data, the current weakness in the European market remains and is likely to continue to weigh on the financial performance of the next quarter. The Chinese electric vehicle market has become one of the driving forces for performance due to unabated sales. Infineon: Year-round sales 15 billion! Infineon's revenue for the fourth quarter of 2024 was 3.919 billion euros, down 6% from the same period last year, in line with the company's forecast of 4 billion euros, but below the average analyst estimate of 3.98 billion euros. The segment's profit margin was 21.2%, compared to 25.2% in the same period last year. For Infineon, the overall fiscal year 2024 results were not as expected. Revenue in fiscal year 2024 was 14.955 billion euros, down 8% year-on-year; profit was 3.105 billion euros; profit margin was 20.8%; adjusted earnings per share were 1.87 euros; free cash flow was 23 million euros, and adjusted free cash flow was 1.69 billion euros. The company expects fiscal year 2025 revenue to be slightly lower than the previous fiscal year, with adjusted gross margin expected to be around 40%, profit margin 14% to 19%, and investment expected to be around 2.50 billion euros.
